100% of Happy Valley Soup Company energy needs are solar powered. Ground loop geothermal HVAC units provide the heating & cooling for our manufacturing facility. And we recycle everything we can – cans, bottles, ink cartridges, paper, and all cardboard boxes – striving for 0% waste.
More than Soup
The property includes Muddy Paws Wetlands – 40 acres used for education, club gardens, events. Named for our dog “Max”, it’s a thriving wetland in the Upper Penns Creek Watershed enjoyed by many to appreciate and learn about the importance of environmental stewardship.
The Happy Valley Soup Company Story
The Williams family has been creating and selling gourmet dry soup mix recipies for decades. They’ve always put a specific emphasis on using all natural ingredients and their recipies include no added salt, preservatives or MSG. Sister company Cooke Tavern Soups has become nationally known offering delicious, healthy soups that are quick and easy to make. All you add are a few pantry items like broth and maybe a fresh vegetable, and your choice of meat should you so desire.
Wanting to share the deliciousness with even more by offering the soups in grocery stores, owner Greg Williams decided to create a new line with its namesake being the beautiful valley in central Pennsylvania where he and his wife have enjoyed residing in for years – Happy Valley.
